Ghost of Chance are an post-garage rock duo based in New Haven, Connecticut. The group's distinctive style is characterized by subtle time signature changes and sonically open experimentation set to surrealist lyrics. Ghost of Chance's sound takes its influence from 1960s psychedelica and garage rock while maintaining the shimmer of classic pop sensibilities. All of this adds to the unique yet familiar sound that Ghost of Chance have cleverly cultivated. Engaging the audience with a anxious energy and the desire to communicate, Ghost of Chance share a sense of imperativeness with great pop predecessors like the 13th Floor Elevators and John Cale -- sincerity combined with pop knowledge.

This perspective spirals into the darkest pits of the human soul, the only alleviation occurring when the condition is passed from parent to child. Deluxe - Plastic Glass Single

after being shelved for quite awhile, Here it is, the first single by Deluxe, a project of Jayson Munro and Dave Brook. Plastic Glass, a dancey electro-pop 2-song single, is being released on Obscure Me Records and dropping Aug 14th. It will be available Digitally and on CDr (limited).

Deluxe is Jayson Munro (vocals) and Dave Brook. A Electro-pop band started in 2009, but semi abandoned till 2011 with the recording of new songs. Deluxe is based out of the New Haven, Conn area. Both Jayson and Dave play multiple instruments including analog synths, drum machines, software that uses granular synthesis, guitar, and bass.

“Plastic Glass” is Deluxe’s first single to be released. Employing the use of technologies old and new, Deluxe adorns their songs with lush instrumentation. Drum machines, synths and guitar all intermingle on the “Plastic Glass” single creating ‘retro,’ yet edgy songs that will leave you wanting more. Jayson and Dave wield software like experts, as they do analogue instruments (guitar, bass, analogue synth). Whether you like synthy, anachronistic pop music or not; the passion embedded in the songs is undeniable. Solid, natural progressions with the icing of 80's styling make this Single freshly retro, a great first album. Deluxe plans on releasing a full LP on vinyl in January 2013 and a potential split Vinyl 7" with Werewolf Police.
